Hello! My name is Kristen, and I’m a 30 year old teacher from the United States with about three years experience of teaching English as a foreign language. I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, and a TEFL certificate from the International TEFL Academy. I have experience tutoring students of all ages, both in-person and online, but I excel the most with young learners. I really enjoy working with children.
My teaching style is very laid-back. My main focus is making sure my students feel comfortable, confident and unafraid to make mistakes. I really believe that a willingness to make mistakes is at the core of language learning.

I’m also very good at gently and consistently correcting speaking and pronunciation errors in the moment, making sure to write out corrections for a student’s future reference.
