Hi! How are you? My name is Niki, and I am a native American citizen with five years of teaching experience.
I have two B.A. degrees from a prestigious University in the USA. One degree is in Theater, and the other is in Religious Studies. I have a TEFL Certificate, as well as a lot of training in other areas too.
I have worked online with Chinese and Thai children, as well as offline in the class with American and Swedish children. I have to admit, I love second graders, but I also find a lot of satisfaction working with adults too!
I focus a lot of my classes on pronunciation, and I tailor my lessons to what I see where the student’s strengths and weaknesses lie.
I love travelling and learning about other people and different cultures! As a teacher, I can say, I try to laugh and make class fun as often as possible, because learning should be fun as well as effective. Otherwise, learning English can become so boring and something you dread, and nobody wants that!
